Looking for practical tools for teaching out on the land? SaskOutdoors
is hosting a fun and practical training session aimed at introducing
educators to the interdisciplinary Project WILD Activity Guide. The
Project WILD guide (included in price) provides educators with 121
experiential lesson plans about wildlife and the environment that can
be adapted for any age, grade or subject.
During the six-hour Project WILD training workshop you’ll learn how to
facilitate Project WILD lessons as well as how to adapt Project WILD
for your own purposes. The workshop will be facilitated by Jana from
Wildernook Fresh Air Learning at the U of S Campus near the Education
building. Please come dressed to actively participate outside. We
invite you to visit the Canadian Wildlife Federation website to see a
sample activity.
