In 2023-2024, we put our heads together with like-minded orgs and brought the Get Outside! Kids Club to Saskatoon.

We are so thankful to the generous funding and partnership with the City of Saskatoon and Nature Saskatchewan that brought this program to Saskatoon in 2023-24.

Each month during the school year from June 2023 - March 2024, Wildernook facilitated two free educational experiences for kids between the ages of 6-13 and their caregiver to join. We learned, connected, and cared for different naturalized spaces and parks across the City of Saskatoon.

The Get Outside! Kids Club provided opportunities for families with kids between the ages of 6 and 13 and their parent/caregiver to learn, connect and care for the different naturalized and green park spaces across the City of Saskatoon. We had over 400 people in total attend these 8 events in places like Lakewood Park, Hyde Park, Meewasin, the U of S, Montgomery Park, Kinsmen Park, Gabriel Dumont Park, and Victoria Park.

We are awaiting confirmation if this program will continue in 2024-25.
